On the power of TRE with Shift with Shubhra

In this 2021 conversation with the lively and engaging Shubhra, we speak about befriending the body, how TRE reveals our body’s innate intelligence, the potential it has for repatterning our habitual ways and how through this connection, perhaps we can have a deeper sense of belonging in the world. On embodiment and sensitivity at The Embodiment Conference 2020

In this presentation I speak about three ways in which we can harness the gifts of being a highly sensitive person to our advantage. This is a topic close to my heart and I hope you will find it useful if you are or know a highly sensitive person in your life. You can watch the full video here.

On allowing our emotions to be with Inmybodysg

In this 2021 podcast spread over three episodes, I speak with Yoke and Tammie about how here in Singapore, we often might feel we are not allowed to fully allow our emotions. When we start labelling our feelings as wrong or bad, the full spectrum of emotions available to us becomes more limited as well. Living in such close proximity to multi-generational family members who might have a different relationship with emotional expression only serves to deepen the disconnect. You can hear more about our reflections on this in Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of the podcast.

Shedding the ‘good girl archetype’ with Curito

In this 2023 podcast, I speak with Jen about my journey of authenticity and what the process of letting go of the “good girl archetype” that I was the embodiment of (prefect/ councillor/ straight A student/ Ivy Leaguer/ scholarship holder) looked like. In the context of a place as small and with relatively homogeneous life trajectories as Singapore, moving out of the “shoulds” can feel especially challenging. You can hear more about our rich conversation and follow along to two short guided practices here.

In this 2024 podcast, I speak with Steph and Malvina about a particularly tender part of my personal journey - the death of my partner - and how that has shaped how I hold space for my clients. In this sensitive conversation, I touch on what have been the biggest influences for me in my own journey of discovery and the key tenets of space-holding for me. I also speak about the wildness of grief and its potential for being a doorway into some of our deepest healing if we are willing to journey with it. We also take time to speak about the power of nature and music as allies on our journey of inner exploration.
